An award-winning digital strategist with 10+ years of experience working with international brands and organizations, Mike is an expert in leveraging the power of social and digital data into actionable insights that drive ROI.
During his three years at Tourism Calgary, Mike led the digital content marketing strategy from its inception. Building the department, processes and internal roles and responsibilities, Mike was able to develop a focused strategy that integrated across multiple departments and ultimately resulted in award nominated work that surpassed ambitious two year KPI targets in just one year.
Mike has worked with Stormy Lake on Banff Lake Louise Tourism, Travel Alberta, Parksville Qualicum Beach Tourism, Fort McMurray Tourism, Tourism Kamloops and the Calgary Stampede.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Honours from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.
Mike is a self-proclaimed music geek who always enjoys catching a live show. He has a garage full of bike parts, which he swears he will someday materialize into something useful. Whenever the weather is nice, you will likely find him outside enjoying it.
